let's talk about
Where are you based?
I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer in Jacksonville, MO, and serve most mid-Missouri areas. My roots run deep and wide in mid-Missouri. I grew up in Miller Co. and that is where my family still resides. We currently live in Randolph Co.. My stomping grounds are towns close to Hwy 63 and Hwy 54. I also like traveling! Meaning other locations are not out of the question, just message me.
Do you have a studio?
No, I do not. However, I do have several places I like to shoot photos at. I can recommend a few based on your taste. I also rent space inside Dynasty Salon and Spa in Eldon, Mo when needed.
What type of sessions do you photograph?
I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer. I enjoy photographing all chapters of life, including engagements, senior year, big events, or simply family time with the kids.
What’s your style?
In my opinion, candid picture are the best pictures. I want to catch my clients living in the moment, enjoying their time. With that being said, I do my best to make sure you know what to do with your hands and provide guidance on how to get those candid photos. When you look at your images, I want you to remember the feelings you had at that moment.
What locations do you use?
I suggest locations based on the style and vibe you’re going for. You might be looking for a clean and cozy studio session, a sunset in an open field, a downtown/urban feel, or a beautiful lake view. If you have a unique location in mind, a family farm, for example, I am up for travel!
When do you schedule sessions?
I recommend all outdoor sessions be scheduled right at sunrise or 1-2 hours before the sun sets. These times are called the golden hour for a reason.
Can I print my images myself?
Yes. All my sessions include edited/retouched images + print release via digital download. You also can order professional prints directly from your online gallery in ShootProof.
How long does my session last?
A typical session lasts 45minutes to an hour. Mini sessions are roughly 10-20 minutes.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Cloudy weather is not a problem. However, if it rains, snows, hails, etc. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule. I leave enough wiggle room in my weekly schedule just for this crazy Missouri weather!
When will my photos be ready?!
I know you are so excited! I am, too. Within 72 hours, I will share a sneak peek of your gallery. Sharing galleries is my favorite part, but I am also very detail-oriented, so it takes me a little bit longer. Generally, I have them back within 4-6 weeks. If there is a delay for ANY reason, I will be in contact.
