"Find out who you are and do it on purpose."
Messy buns, Monster energy drinks, and controlled chaos—that’s my secret recipe for balancing life and photography. My mom raised three kids on her own, and watching her push through it all taught me the value of grit, resilience, and heart.I grew up in Small Town, USA, (aka Iberia, MO) where hard work was survival and creativity and the outdoors were my escape.
Every summer spent with my grandma in the garden sparked my love for nature and horticulture, and this deep connection led me to study agriculture education. But after teaching for four years, I found myself transitioning into a new chapter. Working in rural Missouri for a farm co-op, I connected with farmers and realized that beauty, simplicity, and authenticity were found in the everyday moments—just like the ones I now capture through my lens.
Then, in 2023, life threw a curveball when my husband had a severe work accident. With an 8-month-old at home, I dove into photography out of necessity. What started as a way to make ends meet blossomed into something I’m passionate about. One year later, I left my full-time job to pursue my photography business full-time, capturing real, raw moments in the heart of rural Missouri.
But I’m not stopping here. My goals are big—workshops, styled shoots, and helping others grow in this industry. Whether you’re booking a session, learning, or just following along, I’m excited to have you here.
